Cashel Palace Hotel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland. Adaptation and Extension works

Smallwood Architects are part of the team involved in the adaptation and extension of the Cashel Palace, former home to the Archbishops of Cashel designed by the architect Edward Lovatt Pearce in 1734 and an important element in Ireland’s architectural heritage. The project involves the sensitive restoration of the original buildings and an imaginative scheme of extensions and alterations to create an exciting, 42 bedroom 5* hotel with a variety of dining rooms together with state of the art spa and conference facilities. Cashel Palace Hotel opened its door to guests in March 2022.
